Unstoppable fnatic sent home 69n-28e after a dramatic match!
69n-28e hasn’t been as convincing as we have seen them earlier. At this year ESWC they haven’t had the same drive and momentum as they had in Louisville at WSVG. In a few weeks their big secret will be reveled and until that they can go on a well deserved break. Inari have really established them self as one of the big boys in gaming.
Even tough 69n-28e wasn’t playing perfect they were still apart of one of the most intense matches in the tournament so far.
In first round, played on nuke, the two teams matched each other completely and it ended with a draw. In overtime fnatic got the vital first round and thereby momentum of the game. A quick 4 to 0 and it was over.
In second round it was like 69n-28e already had given up. Short process and a 16 to 3 win for fnatic.
69n-28e vs. fnatic - 0 : 2
First round (nuke): 15 : 19
Second round (inferno): 3 : 16
This means that fnatic is still unbeaten and for the statistic nerds, fnatic in 10 matches have given away only 75 rounds.
fnatic will face PGS in the semi final tomorrow, which might be the two best teams in this tournament.
